The Beneficial Result of False indigo for Sand Stablization

摘要: 在半湿润气候地区的流动沙地上,采用株高50厘米左右的紫穗槐小苗,按20×200厘米行状或40×200×200厘米格状营造高密度固沙林,当4-5年时即可固定流沙。地表粗糙度从0.03厘米提高到4.47厘米,50厘米以下地表风速可降低13.4-62.1%,小气候及土壤等生态条件明显改善,土壤含水率可达2.06%,在行间栽植樟子松生长良好。

Abstract: On the shifting sand dunes, in sub-humid zone, young seedlings of False indigo, 50 cm in its height, were planted and arranged in ranks. Its space distance between individual trees is 20×200cm; or dense sand-holding woodland, it is in squre forms of 20×200×200cm,was established. The sand dunes can be stablized throught 4-5 years' efforts. Roughness of surface is increased from 0.03-4.47 cm, wind velocity, 50 cm above surface, is reduced 13.4-62.1% in comparison with that in the areas without sand coverings; microclimate and soil condition is obviously improved; and water holding capacity is increased to 2.06%; Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica has a good survival and growth rate in the row spacing of the woodland.
