Abstract: Determination and analytical results have shown that the varieties and contents of higer fatty acids in seeds of some psammophytes are correlated with their parameters of ultra-weak luminescence, mv. s/g,in the course of seed germination:the ultra-weak luminescences are correlated negatively with the contents of C_140-18⁰ fatty acids and pentadecanoic acid,with correlation coefficients being -0.8137 and -0.9163 respectively,but correlated positively with the contents of C_18-20^1-3 fatty acids,r=0.9585. In addition,each psmmophyte has its own luminescence charateristic.
