Abstract: The interseed techniques including suitable grass species selection,seed dealing,right interseed time,correct interseed terrain and appropriate interseed machine were studied and applied in the practice.The results of all effort were showed by the improvement of ecological environment and the increasing of soil nutrition,vegetation cover and pastural biomass.In the third year after interseeding,the vegetation cover and the yield of dry grass were 4 and 8 times as mach as those before interseeding.Moving sand was controlled.Benefit by the ecological environmental improvement,the carrying capacity for live stock was hightened to 2 goat unit/km² from 1.5~2 goat unit/km² and the net annual income from grassland was 3 times as much as that before interseeding.
