Abstract  Ammopiptanthus mongolicus possesses particular drought-resistant character. It's am ever-green shrub used in sand fixation, weter conservation, energy sources exploitation, soil improvement and nectar sources enlargement. Through the tests of various cultivation techniques and mathematical statistics in contrasting the signification level, it is thought that seed sowing by different methods, seedlings transplanting with plastics sacks, and direct seeding with sand covering on them in rainy season achieved excellent results; transplanting of naked-rooted plants in Spring can keep a certain survival rate, but both transplanting in late Autumn and cultivation by cutting usually resulted in very low survival rate.
