Abstract: To recognize the movement of wind-blown sand saltation,one of the main tasks is to study the distribution of the initial velocity of lift-off sand particles in aeolian saltation.This paper firstly analyzes the experimental result,then presents a 2D impact model and calculates the distribution of the initial velocity and angular speed of sand particles by statistics,finally compares experimental results with theoretical results,which shows that a lots of them are accordant.
