Abstract: There are abundant tourism resources in China desertification region,but they are decreasing now,which will influence the tourism development of this region.The eco-tourism is the inevitable form to sustain tourism of China desertification region based on the connotation of eco-tourism itself and its conditions in foreign countries and China now.In the paper some countermeasures for the development of eco-tourism exploitation in China desertification region are suggested,such as strengthening correlative researches,strengthening management and supervising,strengthening education to different persons.Finally,some concepts which are useful to eco-tourism exploitation are raised too.In a word,if the correct development form of tourism,that is eco-tourism,is adopted and implemented absolutely,the sustainable development of tourism in China desertification region may be coming true.
