Abstract:

Data exchange is the premise of data sharing, and it is also an important basis for the sustainable development of scientific data accumulation, scientific integration and effective management. Through the analysis of existing problem in the standardization of data of desert geological records and human activity traces, this paper emphasizes the necessity of formulating the standards of desert geological records and human activity trace data. According to the data characteristics of desert geological records and human activity traces, the data are classified and different thematic databases are established, and the current international and domestic normative references are adopted according to local conditions. According to the standards, the basic attributes of the data are compiled, the special data dictionary and data coding rules are established, and the collection data specification of desert geological records and human activity traces is expanded. On this basis, the requirements of metadata compilation are proposed and the data flow based on metadata is established. This data specification provides a reference case for the same type of research, lays a foundation for fully realizing the sharing of desert geological records and human activity trace data, and plays an important role in the sustainable development of data sharing.

Key words: desert geological records, human activity trace, data specification, data collection and exchange
