Abstract: The experiment of air-seeding described in the study Was conducted in the shifting sand areas in Yulin Prefecture, Shaanxi proivnce from 1974-1981. The sellection of sand-holding species for air-seeding, the techniques for Preceeding seeds, the Principles for stablizing sand by plant community, the calcuation of quantity for air-seerding, the sellection of environment and sites for air-seeding, the preven tion of the Problems of rodent, rabbit and insect Pest, the assess ment of the investment and the economic ciiects of the air-seeding project and others are presented and discussed detailly in the study. This report provides some expriences and theoretical evidences for the extension of the experiment of sand stablization by air-seeding in Yulin, Shaanxi province.
