Domination of Local Landforms to Sand Dune Movement, Altai, Xinjiang

摘要: 沙丘迁移是风的作用结果,而地面风向则受到地形条件的很大影响。阿勒泰地区沙丘移动方向较复杂,在夏半年(4-9月),西部额尔齐斯河南北及中部两河地带的沙丘向东、东南方向移动;冬半年(10-3月),西部额尔齐斯河以南沙丘略向北移动,河北侧沙丘向西、西北移动。本区的气候主要受西风和北极气团的影响。蒙古高压区在冬半年对本区作用显著,主要由阿尔泰山中段鞍部南下侵入该区,然后沿额尔齐斯河西行,对该河北侧的沙丘产生明显作用。在本区的起伏山地直接影响风的流动线路,控制地面沙丘的移动方向。

Abstract: Movement of sand dune is a result of wind action.However,land surface wind is largely effected by local conditions of landforms.In the area of Altai, Xinjiang, moving directions of sand dunes are complex: in the half year from Sep.sand dunes on the both sides of western Ertix River, and between the Ertix River and Ulungur River move eastward and southeastward.In the half year from Mar.sand dunes on south side of the western Ertix River gentlely move northward, but sand dunes on the north side of the Ertix River move westward, or northwestward.The local weather is mainly effected by westlies and arctic air mass.Mongolian High Pressure obviosly acts upon the study area during the winter half year.The wind moves down southward mainly along the lower pass of middle part of the Altai Mt.and enters study area,then moves westward along the Ertix River,and acts upon the dunes of north side of the western Ertix River.In addition, higher relief of local londforms also directly effects on the wind directions, and controls the moving direction of sand dunes.
