临夏州“010408”强沙尘暴、寒潮天气过程分析

Analysis on Dust Storm and Cold Wave on April 8th 2001 in Linxia of Gansu Province

摘要: 应用常规各时次的高空、地面资料,对2001年4月7~9日临夏州出现的强沙尘暴、寒潮天气过程的影响系统演变进行分析。结果表明,500 hPa西风急流轴(≥20m·s-1),从泰梅尔半岛迅速向南扩展,高空锋区随急流持续南压,促使中高纬度地区有效位能和动能增加;在地面,中高纬度强大的冷高压向南发展,与中、低纬度持续性低值区之间产生了很强的气压梯度带。这种高低空系统叠加后,在受灾区附近动力扰动的作用下,出现了这次强沙尘暴、寒潮天气过程。

Abstract: A dust storm and cold wave process in Linxia of Gansu Province on April 8th 2001 was analyzed based on upper and surface data.The results show that the process was caused by the axis of 500 hPa westerly jet(> 20 m·s-1) expanding rapidly southward to give rise to the increase of effective potential energy and kinetic energy over the mid-latitude region and intense the vertical barometric gradient.In the condition of this current system and affected by the power disturbance of the region,the sand storm and cold wave weather process was formed.
