Abstract: Focusing on the spatio-temporal evolution of ecology-resource-economy coordinated development in ecologically fragile area, the paper takes the ecology-resource-economy coordinated development in ecologically fragile area in Shanxi Province as an example, builds an evaluation system of ecology-resource-economy coordinated development based on the theory of coordinated development, and studies the evolution pattern of its coordinated development level by using the coupled coordination model. The results show that:(1) From the subsystem comprehensive development index, the resource system comprehensive development index decreased slightly, and the economic system rose slightly, while the ecosystem maintains a relatively high level of development, and the development trend is good. (2) From the perspective of coordinated development degree, the ecological, resource and economic coordinated development level of the ecologically fragile area in Shanxi Province has been improved on the whole, mainly in the basic coordinated areas. Later, relatively coordinated areas began to appear, but did not form a large area. (3) Policy traction has become the main driving force for the coordinated development of ecology, resources and economy in the ecologically fragile area of Shanxi Province. Finally, the paper puts forward some suggestions on the coordinated development of ecologically fragile area in Shanxi Province from the perspective of policy driving.
