BIOMASS DYNAMICS AND REGENERATION METHOD OF ARTIFICIAL PLANT COMMUNITY IN SANDY LAND

Abstract: Caragana microphylla community is the typical one of artificial sand binding plant communities in Horqin Sandy Land.Having studied the seasonal biomass dynamics in its two stages of growth phase,the biomass dynamic models of Caragana microphylla are put forward.Germination is the main regeneration method of this community,and cutting can increase the above-ground biomass.The proper time of renewal cutting is 6~8 years.
