Abstract: The author put forward NFMG method in 1996, and artificially cultivated Nostoc flagelliforme(NF) and got algae species one year later. NF algae filament that man eye can see was successfully cultivated. The study was a important breakthrough in the related field. (2) The environment for NF culture included culture medium, sunlight, water, humidity control, and ventilation. The reason why crude sand was better than thin sand was that ventilation of crude sand was better, which benefits the growth of algae filament. Soft light at 10 a.m. was the best suituble for algae filament growing and the appearance of suspending grow was easy seen at 9~10 a.m.; other than this time, it was almost imposible to see. Though NF can resist the high temperature and strong light, the soft light is the best for algae growth. Therefore, artificial NF culture should choose the best environment condition.
