Model of Controlling Aeolian Desertification and Benefits Analysis in Balinyou Banner, Inner Mongolia

Abstract  In Balinyou Banner, the controlling of Aeolian desertification and ecology recovery measures include compositive controlling for sands, support poor by migration and exploiture and building small towns. The general idea is that to reduce the pressure on land by emigrating farmer and herder from sand regions, to recover vegetation and natural balance by enclosing grassland and artificial air-seeding; to realize self-support and merchandise agriculture by constructing multi-management high-tech agriculture. In a short time, the food amount per people own reaches about 500 kg, and the livestock amount per people feed reaches 15 sheep units, and the income per people reaches 2 500 Yuan. By building Daban town and Baoriwusu town, to advance the urbanization and living level.
