| Spatial Difference of Economic Development in Lanzhou-Chongqing Railway Economic Radiation Belt |

Abstract Understanding spatial pattern of economic development is important to make the developing plans and to guide the industrial distribution in railway economic radiation belt. Selecting 9 economic indices and using the SPSS software and the spatial analysis method provided by the Geoda software, we analyze the spatial difference among the main administrative regions within area to 120 km away from the railway route. Results show that there are great spatial differences in economic developmental level, demonstrating geographical concentration phenomenon in the railway economic radiation belt. Chongqing city is an important economic hot spot, and except for Chongqing there is no other node-city that drives the economic development. So with the increasing of distance from Chongqing, the radiation capacity of Chongqing becomes weaker and weaker. In this paper, we also put forward some countermeasures and suggestions after analyzing the main influencing factors of the economic development.
