内陆干旱盆地新生代碳酸盐岩氧同位素的古气候意义

PALAEOCLIMATIC SIGNIFICANCE OF OXYGEN ISOTOPE OF CARBONATE IN INLAND DRY BASIN

摘要: 以柴达木盆地新生代湖相沉积作为主要研究对象, 探讨内陆干旱盆地碳酸盐岩氧同位素的古气候意义。作者发现, 内陆干旱湖盆碳酸盐岩氧同位素比值的变化, 与深海氧同位素相似, 也受矿物相、水体的温度和盐度控制, 但主要受控于水体盐度的变化, 即来自边缘山体的淡水供给和湖泊水体有效蒸发的状况, 其次才是水体温度等因素的变化; 在恢复内陆干旱湖盆古环境古气候演化规律方面, 碳酸盐岩氧同位素记录有着极为重要的作用

Abstract: Located on the northeastern border of the Qinghai-Xizhang Plateau in western China, the Qaidam Basin is a great arid intermontane basin, where huge Tertiary and Quaternary lacustrine deposits have been accumulated. Analysing the Qxygen isotope of carbonate of the inland dry basin indicated that the value of δ18O of the carborate in this area was firstly controlled by the salinity, secondly, by the temperature of the water body. According to the values of δ18O,magnetic susceptibility, carbonate and Cl- content, crystalling index of illite, chemical element, physical log curves, a climatic change curve has been obtained.
