不同气候区白刺灌丛沙堆生物量分配及碳汇功能

Biomass distribution and carbon sink function of Nitraria tangutorum nebkhas in different climate zones

摘要:

为了明晰不同气候区白刺灌丛沙堆的生物量分配、碳汇功能及其对环境因子的响应机制,评估荒漠生态系统碳汇功能和适应性分区管理。本研究以民勤荒漠区和杭锦旗荒漠区的白刺灌丛沙堆为研究对象,通过对其形态参数、生物量和碳储量特征量化分析和相关分析,阐明不同气候区影响白刺灌丛沙堆生物量和碳储量的关键因子。结果表明:(1)杭锦旗荒漠区白刺灌丛沙堆形态特征、植株特征、生物量显著高于民勤荒漠区(P<0.05)。(2)杭锦旗荒漠区白刺灌丛沙堆土壤含水量、土壤有机碳和碳储量分别是民勤荒漠区的8.11倍、2.45倍和8.53倍(P<0.05),表明杭锦旗荒漠区白刺灌丛沙堆碳储量远大于民勤荒漠区。(3)白刺灌丛沙堆高度、底面积和体积与不同组分生物量最优拟合模型为线性函数和指数函数,R2值为0.42~0.93。而土壤碳含量和碳储量与不同组分生物量最优拟合曲线均为线性函数,R2值为0.86~0.95。(4)民勤荒漠区土壤有机碳(SOC)和沙堆高度(H)是影响白刺灌丛生物量和土壤碳储量的关键因子;沙堆体积是影响杭锦旗荒漠区白刺灌丛生物量和土壤碳储量的关键因子。本研究结果表明,白刺灌丛沙堆在干旱区碳汇功能中具有重要作用,且其碳积累能力受气候区环境因子的显著影响。未来生态恢复与管理策略应结合区域气候特征,提升荒漠生态系统碳汇潜力。

Abstract:

We aim to clarify the biomass distribution, carbon sink function, and response mechanisms to environmental factors of Nitraria tangutorum nebkhas with different climates, thereby facilitating the assessment of carbon sink function and adaptive zoning management in desert ecosystems. This study focused on Nitraria tangutorum nebkhas in the Minqin desert area and the Hangjin Banner desert area. Through quantitative analysis of their morphological parameters, biomass and carbon storage characteristics, and correlation analysis between indicators, we aim to elucidate the key factors influencing biomass and carbon storage of Nitraria tangutorum nebkhas with different climates. The results showed that: (1)The morphological characteristics, plant features and biomass of Nitraria tangutorum nebkhas in the desert area of Hangjin Banner were significantly higher than those in the Minqin desert area (P<0.05). (2)The soil moisture content, soil organic carbon and carbon storage of Nitraria tangutorum nebkhas in the desert area of Hangjin Banner are 8.11 times, 2.45 times, and 8.53 times higher than those in the Minqin desert area, respectively (P<0.05), indicating that Nitraria tangutorum nebkhas in the desert area of Hangjinqi have much higher carbon storage than those in the Minqin desert area. (3)The optimal fitting models for the height, bottom area, and volume of Nitraria tangutorum nebkhas with different component biomass were linear and exponential functions, with R2 values ranging from 0.42 to 0.93. The optimal fitting curves of soil carbon content and carbon storage with different component biomass were linear functions, with R2 values ranging from 0.86 to 0.95. (4) Redundancy analysis revealed that soil organic carbon (SOC) and sand dune height (H) were key factors affecting the biomass and soil carbon storage of Nitraria tangutorum shrubs in the Minqin desert area; The volume (V) of Nitraria tangutorum nebkhas was a key factor affecting the biomass and soil carbon storage of Nitraria tangutorum shrubs in the desert area of Hangjin Banner. The results of this study indicated that Nitraria tangutorum shrubs played an important role in carbon sequestration in arid regions, and their carbon accumulation capacity is significantly influenced by environmental factors in climatic zones. In the future, ecological restoration and management strategies should be combined with regional climate characteristics to enhance the carbon sink potential of desert ecosystems.
