THE FORMATION MECHANISM OF SNOW DRIFT IN AIKEN DABAN AND ITS CONTROL

摘要: 根据天山艾肯达坂地区的野外观测和风洞模拟实验,导出山区风雪流输送量与风速随高度分布方程,指出贴地气层分离是形成道路雪阻的主要原因。首次提出利用透风式下导风清除道路积雪的理论与方法,在风雪流灾害防治工程的实施中取得了巨大的经济和社会效益。

Abstract: The Yili highway arterial crossing across Aiken Daban in Tianshan Mountain is frequently subject to snow drift disasters in winter and spring. In this paper the environment condition of snow drift formation and the disaster severity in the region are discussed and gived out the figures and equations for calculating the unit snow-drift quantities and wind velocity distribution, Under the snowy or non-snowy weather conditions, the eddy resistance in the boundary layer separation areas increases rapidly. The separation piont in the air imediatly above the ground surface occurs around the topographically turning points and move forward continuously with the accumulation of drift snow.From 1980 to 1981, the highway Bareau of Xingjiang adopted 8468 m of blower fence with different air permeability along the road in combination with setting up snow storage field and adjusting road slope to control the snow drift disasters, thus ensured the transportation safety in winter and spring.It has saved 479 million yuan of transportation fee and achieved huge economic and social benefits by using these techniques in the past 11 years.
