塔克拉玛干沙漠地区沙尘暴研究进展

Research Progress of Dust Storms in the Taklimakan Desert

摘要: 作为中国最大的沙漠和世界第二大流动性沙漠,塔克拉玛干沙漠是中国主要沙尘暴中心和黄土沉积的物源区之一,在中国北方乃至欧亚大陆自然环境和生态格局中具有重要影响,研究塔克拉玛干沙漠地区的沙尘暴具有十分重要的理论与实践意义。本文综述了塔克拉玛干沙漠地区沙尘暴过程及数值模拟预报研究的主要进展,阐明了沙尘暴的成因,进而总结了沙尘暴孕育发展的主要特征,提出了塔克拉玛干沙漠地区沙尘暴研究中亟待解决的科学问题。

Abstract: As the largest desert in China and the second-largest flow desert in the world, the Taklimakan Desert is one of major centers of China's dust storm and loess depositions, and it also play an important role in the natural environment and the ecological pattern of the northern China and Eurasian Continent. It is of great theoretical and practical significance to investigate the dust storm in the Taklimakan Desert. This review firstly summarized the important progress of the process and the numerical simulation prediction of the dust storm in the Taklimakan Desert, as well as illustrated the characteristics and the formation of the dust storm, and then put forward the scientific issues needed to be solved urgently.
