| Relationship between Urbanization Level and Land Use Structure in Five Cities along South Xinjiang Railroad |

Abstract Correlation between urbanization level and urban land use structure in five cities along South Xinjiang Railroad is analyzed based on data in 1993—2008. Results showed that the urbanization level of the five center city already get into rapid development stage, and the urban land use structure changed significantly during the urbanization process. The percents of residential land and industrial land decreased; the percents of public establishment land, road and square land, and green land increased; and the percents of storage land, traffic land and special land were stable. The main factors of land use structure change are perfection of city construction and increase of urbanization level.
