Desert Scenic Landscape Value Evaluation Method and Its Application

Abstract

Abstract: To create an evaluation method of desert landscapes, an evaluation indicator system was built which included aesthetic value, recreational value, scientific and cultural value, economic and social value and corresponding 17 evaluation indicators. Then landscape value indicator was calculated by expert advice, analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. The method was practiced in research on landscape value of Shapotou desert and other major attractions. The results of the two models are consistent with the status. This research can provide a reference for the evaluation of desert scenic landscape value.
