我国沙区6种蒿属植物的种子微形态特征

A Comparative study on Microstructure Features of Seed From Artemisia Plants in Desert of China

摘要: 应用光镜和扫描电镜对我国沙区6种蒿属植物的种子微形态结构进行了比较观察。结果表明:其种子微形态特征在组间有一定分类学价值,近缘组和近缘种的种子微形态结构表现出极大的相似性;其种子体积小、重量轻、种皮富含胶质、表面纹饰呈凹凸不平的沟槽状,有利于在沙区的传播与萌发。

Abstract: The microstructure features of seed from 6 species Artemisia in desert region of China were observed using both optical microscope and scanning electron microscope. The results show that shape of achenes is lengthened-ovate or ovate, the size is (1.69~2.06)mm×(0.67~1.09)mm, the ratio of length to width is 1.78 to 3.03. The basic ornamentation striate and all of the epidermal cells of achenes have secondary thicken. The microstructure features of them have taxonomic and ecological significance at species and section level.
