摘要: 绿洲化是干旱区由于人与自然因素共同作用所导致的由荒漠向绿洲转变的过程。我国干旱区绿洲化面积从20世纪50年代后期的2.5万km2扩大到10.4万km2,绿洲化主要是改变了水循环,也就可以改善局部或更大范围的生态环境,提高生产力。可以说,绿洲化是一个将自然生态系统通过人类活动提升至人工生态系统的过程。但绿洲低水平、无序的开发也可以使绿洲稳定性下降和绿洲退化,在降低或丧失绿洲土地生产力的同时,还引发一系列生态环境问题,如河道断流、湖泊萎缩、植被退化、土壤侵蚀等。因此,需要开展系统的研究,在全面认知人类活动与气候变化作用下水、土、气、生过程及其相互作用的基础上,揭示绿洲化特征及其时空格局演化、过程、驱动机制,为建立绿洲化的调控与管理模式提供科学依据。

Abstract: Oasification is the transition process from desert to oasis in arid region caused by human and natural factors. The oasification area in arid region of China had expanded from 25 000 km2 of late 1950s to 104 000 km2 now. Oasification can improve the local or wider environment to enhance productivity, mainly by changing water cycle. It can be said that oasification is the development process from natural ecosystems to artificial ecosystems promoted by human activities. However, low level or disorder development of the oasis can decrease the stability of the oasis and cause oasis degradation with the reduction or loss of land productivity, as often can trigger a series of ecological problems, such as rivers break, lakes shrinking, vegetation degradation and soil erosion, etc. Therefore, it is needed to systematically study hydrological, soil, air and biological processes of oasification and their interactions under a comprehensive understand of the role of human activities and climate change, to reveal the characteristics, spatial-temporal patterns, processes and drive mechanism of oasification, and to provide a scientific basis for establishment of regulatory and management model of oasification.
