Abstract: In this paper the authors discussed several problems concerning desertified land rehabilitation. For this purpose, we must correctly handle the relations, such as land development and its protection, rehabilitation and production as well as ecological benefit and economic benefit. In addition,we should resolve fuel supply and the problem of closing off sandy land for vegetation growth. According to investigation data the rehabilitation of desertified land in our country is rather slow, the ratio beteen rehabilitation are and expanding area is roughly at 1:8. In order to speed up the rehabilitation of desertified land the biological control measures have to be combined with irrigation.
