摘要: 吉兰泰盐场1983年开始运用生物、工程等各项综合沙漠治理技术措施,在流沙危害严重地区建立防护林体系,总结出了适地适树,片状、带状配置,形成乔、灌、草有机结合的防护林带。并对人工林采取喷灌措施提高造林成活率和促进林木及林下植被生长;此外,还配合工程固沙措施修筑1×1m2、1×2m2网格状粘土沙障提高防风沙效果。

Abstract: Jartai Salt Lake has long been encroached by shifting sand from Ulan Buh Desert.Since 1983 the Salt works has adopted various ecological and engineering control methods to mitigate the sand damages.These methods include:tree and shrub selection,correct site selection,afforest in small patches,and establish shelter belts over large areas.The works also built the wind breaks which assist the development of natural vegetation.The trees,shrubs,and grasses are planted in a mixing way to form a protective network in severly damaged areas,sprinkling irrigation is an effective technique for sand fixation.It has many advantages:fix sand,rise soil water storage and enhance plant surrival rate.In experiments with clay barriers,the optimum sizes are 1×1 m2 and 1×2 m2.The wind speed at underlying surface(at 30 cm) decreased by 13.3-13.7% after using this method.Clay barriers also improve moisture content in the upper layers of the sand dunes,thus assiting plant establishment.
