Abstract:

The health of farmland shelter belt has an important impact on maintaining oasis ecological security, reducing wind and sand disaster, improving local microclimate and increasing crop yield. We comprehensively used entropy method and analytic hierarchy process to determine the indicator weight and evaluated the health status of farmland shelter forest in Hexi Corridor based on DPSIR model. The results showed that: (1) The farmland shelter belt in Hexi Corridor is at the sub-health level on the whole, of which only the farmland shelterbelts in Guazhou county and Linze County is at the healthy level, the farmland shelter belt in Minqin County Aksay Kazak Autonomoas County is at the unhealthy level, and the farmland shelter belts of 15 districts and counties that are at the sub-health status, accounting for 78.95% of the total districts and counties. (2) The forest belt continuity, the degree of thinning, pruning situation and regional economic income are the key factors to drive the health status of regional farmland shelter belt.
