Abstract

Abstract: Qinghai is one of the seriously desertified regions in China.The intensified land desertification resulted from natural and mankind factors has been harming the peoples' life and production and national economy since 1950's.Both the general survey data for 4 times over provincial desertified land and the studing results on 3 main desertified areas-Qaidam,Gonghe and Qinghai Lake Basins,proved that the average increase of desertified land in Qinghai high cold region was 13.4×10⁴ hm² and the increasing ratio was 2.2%.Against the serious environmental problem,the accesses of desertification control were discussed in the paper.
