Progress and Prospects of Desert Tourism Research in China

摘要: 随着沙漠旅游备受青睐,中国关于沙漠旅游的学术研究也逐渐增多。在时间维度上可划分为3个阶段:萌芽阶段、初步探索阶段、综合深化阶段;研究内容主要集中在沙漠旅游的概念、沙漠旅游资源的特点、沙漠旅游资源的开发,从沙漠旅游适宜性、沙漠旅游市场、生态环境效应等方面进行的研究相对较少;研究方法以定性为主;空间地域研究以单个景区为主。未来沙漠旅游应与生态旅游、沙产业相结合,加强区域合作,重视市场研究,突出区域文化特色,同时创新宣传促销方式。在研究方法上应注重定量分析、定性与定量分析相结合,加强案例研究,并充分发挥GIS、RS等计算机技术在沙漠旅游研究中的作用。

Abstract: With the desert tourism popularity, the academic research about desert tourism in China gradually increased, which can be divided into three stages on time dimension: bud stage, preliminary stage, exploring stage. The research content mainly concentrated in the concept of desert tourism, the characteristics of the desert tourism resources, the development of the desert tourism resources, but the research on the desert tourism suitability, desert tourism market, the ecological environment effect is relatively few. The research methods are mainly qualitative. Space research is given priority to single scenic area. Combined with the related research and the practical problems,the future of desert tourism should be combined with ecological tourism, sand industry, and pay attention to regional cooperation, market research, regional culture, promotion way innovation. Research methods should focus on quantitative analysis, case study, and the role of the computer technology such as GIS, RS in desert tourism research.
