河西走廊中部草地土壤有机碳空间分布特征

摘要:

草地是陆地生态系统的重要组成部分,在陆地生态系统碳循环中扮演着重要角色。研究草地生态系统土壤有机碳分布及影响因素对区域碳汇提升及生态修复具有重要意义。本研究以河西走廊中部荒漠草原、温性草原和草甸草原为对象,通过野外调查、采样和室内分析,研究了表层土壤有机碳含量、土壤有机碳密度的空间分布特征,探讨了表层土壤有机碳分布与土壤容重、土壤含水量、植被盖度、海拔等环境因子的关系。结果表明:(1)土壤有机碳含量及密度均表现为草甸草原>温性草原>荒漠草原,整体空间分布呈东多西少格局,高值区集中于肃南县中部、山丹县南部以及肃南县皇城镇等地。(2)土壤有机碳含量及密度与海拔、土壤含水量、植被盖度呈极显著正相关,与土壤容重、植被高度及砾石含量呈负相关;海拔因子对土壤有机碳含量及密度解释力最高,且海拔与植被因子协同效应显著。(3)植被盖度和海拔是影响河西走廊中部草地土壤有机碳分布的关键环境因子。

Abstract:

Grasslands are an important component of terrestrial ecosystems and play a crucial role in the carbon cycle of terrestrial ecosystems. Studying the distribution of soil organic carbon and its influencing factors in grassland ecosystems is significant for enhancing regional carbon sinks and ecological restoration. This study focuses on the desert steppe, temperate grassland, and meadow steppe in the central Hexi Corridor. Through field surveys, sampling, and laboratory analysis, the spatial distribution characteristics of surface soil organic carbon content and soil organic carbon density were investigated. The relationships between surface soil organic carbon distribution and environmental factors such as soil bulk density, soil moisture content, vegetation coverage, and altitude were explored. The results show that: (1) Soil organic carbon content and density in different grassland types follow the pattern of meadow steppe > temperate grassland > desert steppe, with the overall spatial distribution showing more in the east and less in the west. High-value areas are concentrated in central Sunan County, southern Shandan County, and Huangcheng Town in Sunan County. (2) Soil organic carbon content and density are significantly positively correlated with altitude, soil moisture content, and vegetation coverage, and negatively correlated with soil bulk density, vegetation height, and gravel content. Altitude has the highest explanatory power for soil organic carbon content and density, and there is a significant synergistic effect between altitude and vegetation factors. (3) Herbaceous coverage and altitude are the key variables affecting the distribution of soil organic carbon in grasslands in the central Hexi Corridor.
