Abstract:

The depth of the strategy of agriculture ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin cannot be separated from the synergy of technological innovation and green development. Based on the panel data from 2009 to 2022 of nine provinces (autonomous regions) along the Yellow River, the entropy weight method, the coupling coordination degree model and the Tobit model are utilized to discuss the coupling coordination relationship between technological innovation and agriculture high-quality green development in the Yellow River Basin from a multidimensional perspective, as well as its spatiotemporal evolution characteristics. The main factors affecting the coupling coordination between the two were also analyzed. The results show: (1) The overall level of coupling coordination between technological innovation and agriculture high-quality green development in the Yellow River Basin is relatively low, with a slow improvement rate, and it exhibits obvious step-like characteristics in different regions: downstream > midstream > upstream. (2) The difference in coupling relationship between the two systems has experienced a process of "expansion-stabilization-increase", and reducing regional and intra-regional differences is the key to solving the imbalance in coupling coordination development. (3) Rural informatization, labor agglomeration, government support for agriculture, and the level of planting industry have a significant positive impact on the overall coupling coordination level, while agricultural status and industrial structure have a significant negative impact on the coordination relationship between the two systems. There is significant heterogeneity in the influencing factors of different watersheds.
