Abstract:

Based on the panel data of 9 provinces in the Yellow River Basin from 2000 to 2019, a comprehensive evaluation index system was established from five aspects of economic development, people's lives, education development, public service and resources-environment. The evolution characteristics of ecological environment and economic-social development in the process of regional coordinated development of the Yellow River Basin were discussed by using regional coordinated development measurement model, spatial analysis model and scissors difference model. The results are as follows: (1) The harmony degree of ecological environment and economic-social development in different provinces of the Yellow River Basin is obviously different. (2) From 2000 to 2019, the spatial autocorrelation degree between the subsystems is as follows: public service > people's life > education development > resources-environment > economic development, and the global Moran's I Index value is generally at a low level. (3) During the study period, the scissors difference between the growth rate of ecological environment and economic-social development is relatively stable, showing a relatively flat tendency, roughly within the range of 0.15 level. (4) The absolute value of correlation coefficient is different.

Key words: Yellow River Basin, coordinated development, Moran's I Index, scissors difference, temporal and spatial differentiation
