Abstract:

Based on the concept of human-environment system and resilience, a resilience evaluation index system including economic subsystem, social subsystem and ecological subsystem was constructed. Spatial analysis and coupling coordination degree model were used to explore the spatio-temporal evolution pattern of human-environment system resilience and the coupling coordination state of inter-subsystems resilience from 2000 to 2020 in the Yellow River Basin. The conclusions were as follows: (1) During the study period, the human-environment system resilience in the Yellow River Basin showed an overall increasing trend, with the overall distribution characteristics of higher in southeast and lower in northwest. (2) The spatial distribution of human-environment system resilience in the Yellow River Basin showed a significant internal cluster, showing a strong positive correlation. (3) During the study period, the spatial center of gravity of human-environment system and subsystem resilience in the Yellow River Basin moved westward as a whole, and the difference degree of resilience of human-environment system and sub-system among different regions in the study area became weaker. (4) During the study period, the resilience coupling coordination degree of subsystem of human-environment system in the Yellow River Basin showed an overall growth trend. The development of the resilience of the ecological subsystem had a stronger driving effect on the improvement of the resilience coupling coordination degree of the subsystem than the resilience development of economic subsystem and social subsystem. The development speed of the resilience of the subsystem was not balanced.

Key words: Yellow River Basin, human-environment system resilience, spatio-temporal evolution pattern, degree of coupling coordination
