塔里木河下游植被和沙漠化对输水前后地下水变化的响应分析

Response of Vegetation and Desertification to Groundwater Change due to Emergency Water Supply in Lower Reaches of Tarim River

摘要: 由于近50 a来人类对水土及生物资源的不合理开发利用,导致塔里木河下游河道断流近30 a,使本来就处于干旱环境中的塔里木河下游朝着更加干旱的方向急剧发展,地下水埋深由20世纪50年代的3~5 m逐年下降至2000年的8~12 m, 由此而引起下游天然植被面积逐年减少,仅严重退化的草地面积占下游草地面积的57.5% ,沙漠化面积逐年增加,沙漠化程度也在不断增强。从2000年5月至2007年10月10日,曾9次向塔里木河下游进行生态应急输水,输水后,河道附近地下水位不同程度地得到提高,整个下游天然植被面积不断增加,在下游植被响应最明显的地区,植被覆盖度已超过90%,活植株种类从输水前的 3~4种增加到输水后的10种以上。随着生态输水的实施,原先引起沙漠化的一些环境因子出现了大的变化,由此而引起沙漠化面积的减少和程度的减轻。

Abstract:

Over the last 50 years, the human irrational exploitation and utilization to water, land and biological resources has lead to the drying up of lower reaches of Tarim River nearly 30 years, which intensified the deterioration of originally arid environment. The water table reduced from 3~5 min 1950s to 8~12 min 2000, and natural vegetations reduced year by year, only the serious degraded grassland area made up to 57.5% of the total grassland area in the lower reaches, both desertification area and desertification grade increased year by year. From May 2000 to October 2007, emergency water supply was carried out for nine times. Consequently, the groundwater level near the river bank rose to some extent; the natural vegetation gradually recovered, the biggest vegetation coverage was even larger than 90%; the living plant species increased from 3~4 kinds before the project to more than 10 species after the project. Besides, some of environmental factors which originally caused desertification changed advantageously, correspondingly the desertified area and its degree decreased.
