不同林龄梭梭( Haloxylon ammodendron )的光合特性和水分利用效率

Photosynthetic properties and leaf-scale water use efficiency of Haloxylon ammodendron in different stand ages

摘要:

了解不同林龄梭梭(Haloxylon ammodendron)的光合特征、水分利用效率(WUE)及其存在的差异,有助于理解梭梭在不同生长阶段的差异及对环境的适应策略,对极端干旱区的生态恢复具有重要意义。本研究测定了不同林龄梭梭(5、11、22、34 a和46 a)的光响应曲线,分析了各龄级梭梭的光合特性和WUE。结果表明:(1)随着光合有效辐射(I)的增加,不同林龄梭梭的净光合速率(Pn)、蒸腾速率(Tr)变化趋势相似,低龄级梭梭(5、11 a)光合能力较强;随着林龄增加,梭梭光合能力有下降趋势,且高龄级梭梭(34、46 a)光合特性趋于稳定。(2)不同林龄梭梭WUEI的增加呈非线性增加,中龄级梭梭(22 a)的WUE高于低龄级(5、11 a)和高龄级梭梭(34、46 a),中龄级梭梭(22 a)受到的水分胁迫最大,通过降低蒸腾而提高水分利用效率,高龄级梭梭(34、46 a)出现明显退化,反映出梭梭在极端干旱环境下形成了自身的极端抗旱机制及水分调节策略。

Abstract:

It is important to understand the variation of photosynthetic characteristics and water use efficiency (WUE) response to light, and the differences that existed in different growing years of Haloxylon ammodendron. It helps to reveal the differences in physiological characteristics of H. ammodendron at the different growth stages, and the knowledge of environmental adaptation strategies, which is important for ecological restoration in extreme arid areas. In this study, we measured the light response curves of H. ammodendron of different growing years respectively, 5 a, 11 a, 22 a, 34 a and 46 a. The photosynthetic characteristics and water use efficiency were compared and analyzed among them. The results showed that: (1) With the increasing of photosynthetic radiation (I), the variation trends of the net assimilation rate (Pn) and transpiration rate (Tr) were similar in different growing years of H. ammodendron. The photosynthetic capacity of H. ammodendron planted in recent years(5 a, 11 a) was stronger, while the photosynthetic characteristics of H. ammodendron planted in the early years(34 a, 46 a) tended to be stable; with the increasing of planting years, the photosynthetic capacity of H. ammodendron had a decreasing trend. (2) WUE of different planting years of H. ammodendron showed a non-linear increase with the increasing of I. For H. ammodendronWUE of 22 years was higher than that of lower ages (5 a, 11 a) and higher ages (34 a, 46 a). And the middle-aged H. ammodendron (22 a) was subjected to the greatest water stress and improved water use efficiency by reducing transpiration, while higher-aged H. ammodendron (34 a, 46 a) showed significant degradation. This reflects that H. ammodendron has developed its own extreme drought resistance mechanism and water regulation strategy under extreme drought conditions.
